Act Now, whose 2-year-old colt, Coach Prime , captured a maiden special weight race at Del Mar by 7 1/4 lengths three days ago, sold to Avenue Bloodstock for $610,000 to be the most expensive purchase of the sixth session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, Nov. 13.
Consigned by Nardelli Sales, the 8-year-old Act Now is a daughter of Street Sense in foal to City of Light . She also is the dam of multiple stakes-placed Dr Oseran . Out of the Bernardini mare Always Trouble, Act Now is from the family of grade 1 winners Minardi and Joking and grade 2 winners Tale of the Cat, Fed Biz , and Red Carpet Ready .

Avenue Bloodstock was the session’s leading buyer with their single purchase.
NAJD Stud acquired the session’s highest-priced weanling by spending $155,000 for a colt by Vino Rosso consigned by Greenfield Farms. Out of the winning Distorted Humor mare Celia’s Song, he is from the family of grade 2 winners Warbling and Mrs McDougal .
Dreams of You, a 3-year-old daughter of More Than Ready in foal to Maxfield , sold to Titletown Racing Stables for $130,000. Consigned by Godolphin, she is out of the winning Bernardini mare Dreamup and is from the family of Eclipse Award winners Folklore and Essential Quality and Japanese champion Contrail.
BT Stables paid $120,000 for Corey and Quinn, a 3-year-old daughter of Uncle Mo , out of Canadian champion Youcan’tcatchme , by The Daddy . Consigned by Highgate Sales and cataloged as a racing or broodmare prospect, she is from the family of multiple grade 1 winner Princess of Sylmar .
A weanling filly by Midshipman sold to Clay Scherer, agent, for $110,000. Consigned by Legacy Bloodstock, agent for Hermitage Farm Foaled & Raised, she is the first foal out of Heartful, by Bandbox , and from the family of grade 3 winners Majestic Reason and Hattiesburg .
Monday’s results saw the top 10 offerings sell for $85,000 or more to 10 distinct buyers.
Two mares covered by City of Light sold for a gross of $345,000 to make him the session-leading covering sire.
Keeneland reports 292 horses of the 345 on offer Monday sold for gross receipts of $9,178,100. An average price of $31,432 and a median of $22,000 was recorded. Some 53 individuals didn’t meet their reserve to represent an RNA rate of 15.4%.
During last year’s sixth session, 256 of the 323 horses through the ring sold for a $9,809,400 gross. Suitable for an average of $38,318 and a median of $30,000. The 67 horses that didn’t sell represent an RNA rate of 21%.
Over the past five days of selling, 1,416 horses have sold of the 1,802 to go under the hammer, recording a gross of $175,703,600. An average price of $124,084 and a $65,000 median was made. There have been 386 individuals who have failed to meet their reserve price to show an RNA rate of 21.4%.
To this point last year, 1,350 horses had changed hands of the 1,717 on offer for receipts of $193,370,900. An average of $143,238 and a $75,000 median were recorded. An RNA rate of 21% represents the 367 horses that went unsold.
Taylor Made Sales Agency sold 34 head for a gross of $1,002,500 and an average of $29,485 to be the Day 6 leading seller and the cumulative leading seller with 182 horses through the sixth session for receipts of $21,717,000 to be the leading consignor thus far.
West Bloodstock, agent for Repole Stable, has made nine purchases, spending $5,220,000, at an average of $580,000, to be the leading buyer.
Selling from Book 4 continues Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. ET with Hips 2317-2732 heading through the ring. As of Monday evening, 90 horses had been withdrawn from the seventh session.
