Green Bay Packers Icon Aaron Rodgers was the center of this attention NFL discount season.
Rodgers signed a new, three-year, $150.8 million deal with the Packers during the off-season, but the franchise also trades the Pro-Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams – who led the team receiving the pitch from 2017-21 – to Las Vegas Raiders.
In an interview with the FOX Sports NFL reporter Erin Andrewsbroadcast on “FOX NFL Sunday“Rodgers called Adams no longer with the Packers ‘weird,’ but the team’s offense expectations are unchanged in 2022.
Rodgers said: “Today I said to everyone: ‘It doesn’t matter who plays, the standard never changes. “The expectation of excellence will always be with you when you’re playing for this squad and when I’m leading your line.”

In an effort to supplement its wide studio, the Packers signed veterans Sammy Watkins and deals to choose from North Dakota State wide receiver Christian Watson with pick number 34 in the 2022 NFL Draft. They also return second year recipients Amari Rodgers and veterans Randall Cobb.
Allen Lazard is the longest-running team on the team and he’s enjoying the best eight-touch season of his career, while Cobb is in his second stint with the team. However, Lazard will not be competing in Green Bay’s Week 1 match against Minnesota Vikings due to an ankle injury. Romeo Doubswho caught Rodgers’ eye in pre-season, will probably get more rep.
Rodgers has also made headlines with his use of ayahuasca during the off-season, a combination of plants designed for a nerve-wracking experience, which the midfielder feels has elevated his game both during and off the field.
Rodgers said: “I did ayahuasca in 2020 and I won two MVPs. “I don’t believe it’s a coincidence. I don’t really believe in coincidences. I believe in science and synchronicity, and I really feel that what allows me to do is have a love bigger with the game I play, greater love for my teammates and I may have had the best season of my career in 2020 and then followed up last year with the integration more wonderful of a lot of those lessons.”
Furthermore, the Packers quarterback feels that he has a better relationship with his teammates following his off-season experience.
“At a core level, I definitely have a deeper understanding of who I am, and I think that has made me a better leader and ultimately a better player,” Rodgers said.
Rodgers has won NFL MVPs in a row. He finished last season with 4,115 passes, 37 touchdowns, four interceptions and an interception index of 111.9, completing 68.9% of his passes.
