A helpful approach to better landscape photos

One of the great things about landscape photography is that there are so many ways to approach the way you create your photos. If you’re working on your own, check out this great video tutorial featuring an experienced landscape photographer discussing an effective approach to the genre.

Coming to you from Dave Morrow, this great video discusses “engineering thinking” as an approach to landscape photography. In a genre that requires a complex combination of technical skill, creative vision, coordination of lighting and conditions, etc., being able to break down individual elements and test and improve improving them is really important. And it’s not just about improving the quality of your work, but also efficiency. Landscape photography often requires a lot of pre-planning to get the best results and a lot of work (literally) to get to the location, set up, and prepare for a photo, so any Anything you can do to make your life easier is worth it. Check out the video above for the full recap from Morrow.
