Hong Kong passes new film censorship law
Councillor Luk Chung-hung claimed it was political movies that hindered creativity, not the proposed censorship regulation. One other councillor, Priscilla Leung, who can also be a regulation professor, insisted the invoice was in full compliance with human rights legal guidelines, and she or he hoped to cease such movies from “brainwashing” younger individuals.
