“Light in Hell” by Martin Broen
Argentine/American photographer Martin Broen, known for his dramatic underwater cave photography, has released a new book, Light in HellPublished by Rizzoli. With a foreword by Alex Mustard and an introduction by Paul Nicklen, this photobook is filled with award-winning images capturing the awe-inspiring beauty of underwater cave systems in Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula.
Over the past eight years and numerous diving expeditions, Martin has dived through miles of pitch-black tunnels and photographed more than 250 different cenotes and caves. The book takes readers on an immersive journey into a world few have ever seen, revealing the natural wonders, ancient secrets, and environmental importance of Yucatán cenotes.
