Saratoga Jockey Karaoke Returns July 28

Get ready for an unforgettable night of music, laughter and performances as the 12th annual Riders Up! karaoke contest, benefiting the Permanently Disabled Riders Foundation (PDJF), returns to Saratoga Springs. This unique event, now one of the most anticipated evenings on the Saratoga Racing calendar, will take place on Sunday, July 28 at Vapor Night Club.

Like in previous years, the Saratoga event will be part of the East-West Battle with the Del Mar event taking place on August 11. Some of America’s top horsemen will showcase their hidden talents that are not seen on the track. These talented athletes will reveal their little-known vocal talents and stage presence as they trade in their riding whips for microphones, singing their hearts out to a diverse range of songs in a night that promises to be filled with memorable moments.

The Saratoga Horsemen will be the first to start on Sunday, July 28 at Vapor Night (342 Jefferson St., Saratoga Springs, NY). Legendary host Tom Durkin returns as host, and this year’s judges include NBC horse racing analyst and former horseman Donna Barton Brothers, former MLB star and Dornoch co-owner, 2024 Belmont and Haskell Stakes winner Jayson Werth, 3-time Emmy Award-winning NYS Spectrum 1 evening anchor Marisa Jacques, NewsChannel 13 co-anchor and longtime Upstate NY sports reporter Mark Mulholland, and internationally renowned priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington, KY, Father Jim Sichko.

Festival activities will be posted throughout the evening on PDJF’s social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. (www.facebook.com/jockeysfund) and after judges on each coast name their favorite act, the public will vote for their favorite act online via Facebook and Twitter (@PDJFund).

General admission tickets (including one drink voucher) are $75 per person with entry to Vapor Night Club at 7:45pm and entry to Belly Up at 7:45pm. A limited number of VIP tickets are available at each venue for $175 which includes early entry at 6pm local time at both venues, reserved seating, two drink vouchers and a buffet dinner with the Horsemen. Shows are scheduled to begin at 8pm local time. Both events will feature live and silent auctions and a cash bar. Guests must be 21 years or older to enter the venue.
