EVx 2024: Explore RHB’s attractive EV, PHEV finance packages, including variable interest rate finance
The paultan.org The Electric Vehicle Expo (EVx) 2024, taking place from today to tomorrow (July 20-21) at the Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC), will cover all areas related to electric vehicles, showcasing not only vehicles and charging solutions but also financial aspects.
At the event, RHB provided EV buyers with a comprehensive financial solution not only by offering competitive fixed interest rates from just 2.00% per annum but also by introducing a variable interest rate financing program called RHB Vehicle Financing-i, which offers low initial interest rates and many benefits.
Variable finance packages will appeal to some car buyers because the interest charge – often referred to as the interest rate – is calculated based on a daily amortization and reduction method, similar to current home loan financing methods.
This is beneficial for car buyers if they have extra money or they plan to repay the loan early, even a day early, as the extra payments will reduce the principal amount, thus reducing the interest charges on their finance. Since fixed-rate finance is common for car loans, many people may not know that variable interest rates will give you flexibility and full control over the total interest that RHB charges on new electric vehicles.
