Darby Development LLC (Darby Development), as agent of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, has entered into an agreement establishing NYRA Bets as the Managing Provider of New Jersey’s online and mobile pari-mutuel betting system for horse racing, it was announced today.
Additionally, all account betting platforms have the opportunity to enter the New Jersey market provided that those organizations receive approval from NYRA Bets, Darby Development, and the New Jersey Horse Racing Commission.
As a result, New Jersey residents will soon be able to choose between multiple account betting platforms.
NYRA Bets LLC (NYRA Bets) is the official advance wagering (ADW) platform of the New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA). Launched as a national ADW in 2016 and now available to customers in 36 states, NYRA Bets offers fans the opportunity to bet on tracks around the world from anywhere, anytime. The NYRA Bets app is available for download today on iOS and Android at NYRABets.com.
Darby Development is the operator of Monmouth Park, as well as OTWs in Hillsborough and Woodbridge.

Pending approval from the New Jersey Horse Racing Commission, NYRA Bets will coordinate with online/mobile sports betting operators to set a launch date later this year.

4NJBets, operated by TVG, will continue to operate as an online and mobile betting site in New Jersey as usual without any interruption of service.
