The OBS June Sale is scheduled to begin on June 12
The 2024 Ocala Breeding Company June Sales of 2-year-olds of training age and racehorses is scheduled for June 12-14 with all three sessions starting at 10 p.m. a.m. ET.
It will be streamed live on the OBS website at obssale.com and also passed Bloodhorse.com.
Sales schedule is as follows:
- Hip number 1-350 goes on sale Wednesday, June 12.
- Hip numbers 351-700 will go on sale Thursday, June 13.
- Hip number 701-1,115 will be available on Friday, June 14.
June 7, Hip 589, your son Cheat commissioned by MRM Thoroughbreds, clocked three furlongs in :32 4/5, the fastest distance performance of the underspeed program. The colt flies out of Doll Face by Leroidesanimaux, a half-sister to the stakes-placed Awesome Anywhere.
Eleven horses shared the title for the fastest eight miles of the under tack competition, achieving: 9 4/5.
- Hip 34, consigned by Britton Peak, is available in gray or variegated by Munnings out of Piccadilly Line by Air Force Blue, a daughter of graded winner Sloane Square.
- Hip 144, a gray or wandering filly blur consigned by Grade One Investments, out of Shawklit Cake by Majesticperfection, a half-sister to Graded stakes winner Shawklit Mint.
- Hip 452, Nogueza, a nut girl by Vino Rosso consigned by agent Golden Noguez, exited Beach Time by Bernardini, from the family of Grade 1 stakes winners Emcee and Structure .
- Hip 467, Alia’s Faith, a dark bay or dirty brown by Win win win consigned by Santa Fe Thoroughbreds, agent, out of Biloxi Princess, by Animal Kingdom, out of the family of Grade 1 stakes winner Honey Ryder.
- Hip 568, dark bay or dirty brown of June OBS graduate Buchero consigned by Cruzin’ Thoroughbreds, agent, is a half-sister to Ek Haseena, a stakes-placed OBS graduate, out of Deed, a winning daughter of Exploit.
- Hip 624, a cove next door justification consigned by Hartley/DeRenzo Thoroughbreds, out of Etching by Paynter, daughter of Grade 1 stakes winner and multiple stakes producer Summerly.
- Hip 657, a flat chestnut Big monster authorized by Iran Faria Group, agent, out of Force of Passion, Limehouse’s half-sister to multiple stakes winner Pontchatrain.
- Hip 906, consigned by Harris Training Center, dealer, is a bay colt by Honest naughtiness in Memory of Mother by Include, from the family of group 1 winner Sha Tha.
- Hip 945, a flying colt of Practical joke consigned by Top Line Sales, agent, is of Mo’s Song, by Uncle Mo Half-sister to stakes winner She’s My Gem and out of the family of Grade 1 winner My Conquestadory.
- Hip 993, a flying colt of carpet consigned by Navas Equine, out of Union Queen, by Union Rags, from the family of the Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Always dream and Grade 1 winners Hot Dixie Chick and Pauline’s Pearl.
- Hip 996, consigned by dealer Old South Farm, is a cove by Complexity in Will Ye Go Lassie, by Trappe Shot, a half-sister to graded stakes winner Venus Valentine.
The two young men performed the fastest quarter-mile move of the show, clocking in at: 20 2/5.
- Hip 187, dark or light brown law consigned by agent Tom McCrocklin, out of Southern Silence (Dixie Union), making her a half-sister to Grade 1 stakes winner Esplanande and multiple stakes winner Liberate.
- Hip 509, Brown Sugar, a bay filly by Rotating candy also consigned by McCrocklin, as wildcard, out of Cashmere (Cowboy Cal) and is a full sister to Preakness Stakes (G1) winner Rombauer .
