“Though saying that, I do imply that I want to reboot it. I think it’s a perfect movie,” he explained. “It’s just a father-son thing. I think that’s the way a lot of kids bond with their father. I’ve been lucky — my dad and I can talk about a lot of things — but for me, there’s one thing. grasping is just very therapeutic. It’s the equivalent of me taking a walk on the beach.”
In fact, Miles is a huge baseball fan—and an avid baseball card collector—he teamed up with eBay to celebrate the launch of the eBay Vault at the Vault trading card draft. Its first Stars along with the second former player Chase Utley and MLB Network’s Alanna Rizzo.
“I’m really excited about the partnership. I’m very, very excited about the cards I’ve received,” he said. “Collecting baseball cards is something I’ve been doing all my life. Some of these cards are 75 years old. You really are holding a piece of history and being a baseball fan for life, which is special to you. to me. It’s an artifact. It’s a Relic.”
He’s also excited that eBay is offering a more secure way to get more hunted cards.
“When I was younger, the wild west was a little bit more wild with buying and collecting. So to have the eBay brand that maintains 100% customer satisfaction, you really feel safe and protected,” Miles said. “Best now is because everything comes and goes through the Vault, so you don’t have to worry about cards getting messy in transit or any of that. Some of these cards are incredibly valuable and rare, so you need a lot of trust.”
And, if the Philadelphia Phillies are listening, Miles revealed that he’s totally open to taking a break from his acting career to become their newest star. He further joked, “If they present me as ‘Miles, you have to take two years off acting but you get a second role for the Phillies.’ I would say, ‘See you later, co-star.’ ”
