Sheeraz Tops Queensbury Card on July 16 in London
After the recent award success Hamzah Sheeraz will be looking to maintain good form when he fights on July 16.
The 23-year-old recently won the Writers Club’s Best Young Boxer and can now look forward to facing Francisco Emanuel Torres on Queensbury Promo Invoice. The 32-year-old Argentinian managed a draw in his final game against Terence Crawford’s old rival Jose Benavidez Jr.
The fight will represent Sheeraz WBC International’s first defense of his new weight class item of 160lbs.
Two domestic clashes provided possible support of the night at the Bronze Box Arena in London. Lennox Clarke will defend the British and Commonwealth super-middleweight title against two-time Lonsdale challenger Mark Heffron. And in featherweight, Nick Ball will look to enhance his growing reputation as he assumes the black horse of Nathaniel Collins’ division for the vacant Lonsdale belt.
