Kanye West Defends ‘Eazy’ Video: Art is Therapy
Kanye West has defended his “Eazy” video following backlash for the violence in the video.
In the video, Kanye kills Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend Pete Davidson by beheading him.
“Art is therapy just like this point of view, art is protected as freedom of speech, art inspires and simplifies the world. Art is not representative of any illness or harm. Any other suggestion about my art is false and intentional,” Kanye wrote.
Kanye has been accused of harassing Kim and Pete. Kanye apologized for harassing her and shared her text messages. In one text message, she told Kanye that his posts were putting her and his children in danger.
“I know sharing screenshots is jarring and considered harassing Kim,” he wrote. “I’m in charge. I’m still learning in real time. I don’t have all the answers. To be a good leader is to be a good listener.”
Hours later, he did it again.
