FFVI Pixel Remaster Opera comes in 7 languages, with 3D backgrounds
The FFVI opera scenes will look and sound a little different in Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster version. Square Enix revealed that the opera will be sung in seven languages. It also shows a screenshot of a scene with a 3D background. This means that for this segment it is taking the HD-2D approach.
This is the official announcement. Of the seven languages, only five are named. Square Enix points out that people will hear the song in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. In Famitsu’s Report on it, it also confirmed Japanese and Korean will be available.

This mimics HD-2D style found in games like Octopath’s Traveler or coming soon Live A Live rework, do it again.
