Paul George Injury Update: Clippers forward remains out for weeks with elbow injury
LA Clippers star striker Paul George is still weeks away from returning to the field.
On December 25, the team announced that George had suffered an elbow injury and would be reevaluated in three to four weeks. George missed five games with an elbow injury earlier this month and has been sidelined since returning for two games.

On January 18, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that George will stay on the sidelines for a few more weeks as the team assesses how the injury responds to rest.
This season, George is averaging 24.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists for the Clippers, who are 14-12 when he’s appropriate.

What is Paul George’s wound?
According to Clippers, George tore the anterior cruciate ligament (UCL) in his right elbow.
According to The Athletic, George’s problem with his right elbow dates back to the 2018 season.
How long will Paul George be on vacation?
George has been sidelined since December 25 and will be out for a few more weeks. Injury analyst Jeff Stotts reports that in the NBA, UCL sprains typically leave players out for about 28 days or 13 action matches.
He was sidelined for two weeks in December but it is unclear if his return to action will make the injury worse.
LA is expected to go public 14 times before the All-Star break.
