From ballet flats to basket bags to camellia dresses—there are so many items that come to mind when I think of French stylebut perhaps the item that crosses the wardrobe of most Parisians (and beyond) is jeans.
I know what you’re thinking – it’s the same for all of us, isn’t it? I cannot deny that this is true; whether you look at the costumes of the people who reside in London, New York, Stockholm, Rome—anywhere!—you’re sure to find jeans. However, I think French women appreciate them beyond the comfort of wearing them every day. French Influencers tend to give plain jeans more airtime on their feeds and channels than anyone else I follow, thus providing me with loads of jeans outfit inspiration to try on for myself.
Speaking of which, I think, as the weather starts to change, we can take a closer look at how French women wear jeans in the summer. Given the fact that we have a similar climate (presumably save from the South of France, which enjoys Mediterranean heat), these are the styles I know I’ll rely on for the next few months during the UK summer time.
