If you grew up watching shows like What not to wear Like me, you probably remember a list of fashion rules that were once quite commonly enforced. Don’t wear white after Labor Day, don’t mix different patterns, and the list goes on. Fashion gives people space to express themselves, so I’m glad to hear that these rules have dropped dramatically. One rule I still find myself hearing is that black and brown can’t go together. However, when scrolling through Instagram, I see a variety of costumes that definitely proves that rule wrong and I thought I’d share.
