A few years ago, I fell into a fitness wormhole. I just discovered weightlifting, and the excitement of working out for something has turned me into a full-fledged bodybuilder rat. Naturally, if you go to the gym five days a week, you’ll need cute outfits to make it a little more worthwhile; that’s when I first discovered Alo Yoga. The main attraction of this brand is the abundance of leggings in a variety of unusual colors and finishes that you can’t find anywhere else — like metallic pink leggings. Alo’s Airlift leggings are quickly becoming my favorite pair, and as a 30+ year old owner, that makes a lot of sense!
Over the years, the brand has expanded to more than simply leggings and sports bras. Instead of being a destination only for workout clothes, Alo has positioned itself as a destination for pretty clothes in general. Of course, this is still a place to buy really great leggings, but you can also find really on-trend pieces, like turtlenecks and designer pants. Kendall Jenner recently became an ambassador for the company, so I’d say it’s definitely expanding.
