Copenhagen called the shot. The Danish capital has established itself as the preeminent fashion week in terms of its ability to set trends, street style photography, and Sustainability—And it only gets stronger each season. This has located Copenhagen Fashion Week is a must-see on the global fashion calendar, not only for me personally but also for a host of other international editors, buyers and influencers.
One thing I like about Copenhagen is how its schedule expertly mixes lesser-known brands like Jade Cropper and A.Roege Hove with established brands like Ganni and Stine Goya. This gives everyone the best of both worlds: On one hand, you get insights on new brands to start wearing before everyone else catches up. On the other end of the spectrum, you can feast your eyes on highly anticipated shows from the brands you already know and love.
After returning home in Los Angeles, it’s hard to narrow down the top trends from the Copenhagen collections, but I’ve managed to sort through crop color in my recap below. Oh, and I also did a TikTok version also!
