New game by Sega and Yoko Taro called 404 Game AGAIN: SET (pronounced ) Game Reset Error). The game is a mobile RPG set in an alternate reality, where Sega dominates every aspect of reality. Players meet a character named “X,” and will work together with human versions of Sega’s intellectual property to defeat the evil company. Service for 404 Game AGAIN: SET will begin in the spring of 2023 and will be released on Android and iOS devices. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
Sega announced this in a seven-minute video, which includes a trailer for the game, along with interviews with Yoko Taro and Yuugen, the game’s character artists. The video shows popular Sega franchises transformed into human characters, with games (or characters) such as Virtua fighter plane, run fasteror After Burner among them.

Sega announced that the official website and Twitter account (@404gamereset) for the game is now available to the public. A pre-registration campaign is currently underway in Japan, including a bonus given at launch, depending on the number of registrations.
404 Game AGAIN: SET is in development for Android and iOS devices, and service for the game is slated to begin in the spring of 2023 in Japan.
