4 pairs I will live in this season

When I took a look at my wardrobe last month, I noticed that when it comes to sandals, there’s little variety beyond the standard clogs and slips. I decided to look for some unique shoe styles to add wardrobe for spring (and summer) coming. I wanted to find a pair of shoes that could be worn both casually and in a more classy way. Here are four pairs of spring shoes I bought — three pairs of sandals and a pair of closed-toe heels. In today’s post, I share my thoughts on each pair, including likes, dislikes, and matching info.

Mango Fisherman Sandals

Price: $100

Prefer: I really like the boxy style of these sandals, giving them a modern touch. From the front, the platform looks really thick; Combined with the smaller footbed at the top, it results in a chic and flattering look. I also like the color, a light mushroom tint. I’m excited to wear these to set the stage for floral dresses this spring and summer.

Do not like: With a buckled sandal, I personally like being able to easily slip them on. These are a bit tricky to slide, although I think it could get easier over time if they stretch out a bit.

Relevant information: I have a size 7 ½ (it looks like Mango doesn’t sell my regular size 7) and they fit very well. The width of this shoe seems to be standard in my opinion – not too narrow or too wide.

Nomad State Of Mind Boardwalk Sandals

Price: $68

Prefer: I like the look of these sandals. They are super light; when I put them on, I almost felt like I wasn’t even wearing shoes. They are also more relaxed than I thought they would be from the paintings. They are easy to slide and they grip my feet firmly while walking.

Do not like: They come with a large cloth tag on the side, which I would probably cut off. Regarding comfort, I won’t plan to continue Long walk in them, but I can comfortably on my feet for a while wearing them.

Relevant information: They are true to size. I bought my regular size 7.

Birkenstock Shearling Slide Sandal

Price: $180

Prefer: I like the style of these sandalsand they’re really comfortable and lightweight too. I have seen other people wear them many times online and I finally decided to buy them. I feel like they’re really versatile and I’ll be able to wear them between now and fall a lot.

Do not like: There’s something about the cut material that doesn’t feel as high-quality as I would have liked for this price point, but I expect the build to stabilize over time.

Relevant information: They fit a little narrowly and have a very flat sole. I bought my regular size 7.

Mango leather heel shoes

Price: $130

Prefer: I like the style of these shoes—They look classic but also have a vintage touch, and I don’t have any other shoes that look quite like them. I love the contrasting black soles, and I think they would look really cute with slim socks and wide leg jeans (among many other outfits). They remind me of my Easter shoes when I was four… well! I also prefer the two-inch lower heel, which is easier to carry with my lifestyle, than the higher heel. They’re easy to put on (the front strap is elastic) and, unlike another Mary Jane shoe I’ve had, the shape didn’t leave me blistering when I wore them.

Do not like: I guess my feet can get a little sweaty if worn without socks for a long time and the texture doesn’t seem quite as pretty as I imagined.

Relevant information: I have a size 7½ and they fit very well. Width seems to be standard — not too narrow or wide.
