I’m one of those people who like their birthdays. For me, it was the beginning of a new chapter, a new beginning, a reason to celebrate with friends and a reason to remodel it all. This year I turn 24 and I will celebrate my birthday in New York City with my friends and family. My birthday journey was filled with plans like a tea party in the east village with my sisters and mother who flew in for the weekend; along with a fun dinner planned with my friends in the butcher, followed by evening dancing in Brooklyn, going to a Broadway show and ending the weekend with my mom and sisters. I go to my favorite piano bar in town, The Nines.
So now I have a plan perfect New York City weekend, I need the perfect outfit to wear. This year, I wanted to wear a fun party dress to celebrate with my friends, I always think your birthday is the perfect opportunity to wear something fun and a little over the top that you don’t normally do. , I mean it only comes once a year. For tea, I want to feel prepared for prep school with this Marni argyle sweater and Tigermist pleated skirt with knee-high boots, and I’m thinking of a wool dress for the Broadway show.
