History is on the horizon.
Warriors star Stephen Curry is just seven points from Ray Allen to become the NBA’s all-time 3-point lead, and that could happen tonight in Golden State’s game against the Indiana Pacers in Monday.
Curry went into last week’s game against the Trail Blazers needing 16 3-pointers to break the record, and because you could never count him, Curry really made everyone believe he could make it. . He shot 6 to 17 from a 3-point range in there, getting even closer to the record.
In the Warriors’ next game against the 76ers, Curry was shy of 10 3-pointers, a much harder number to achieve. But a chilly night of shooting, going 3 to 14 from 3-pointers, saw him fall short again, leaving him with the shortfall he faces tonight.
