Incorporating freelance work from home

The concept of Free work, initiated by Sarah Fisher, helps build confidence and can be especially helpful with dogs who are anxious and overreacted. The idea is to encourage interaction and choice with a wide variety of objects in terms of size, texture and level of interaction. Use an empty room, basement or even a garage and set up an interactive course with the safes you have around the house; preferably things he hasn’t seen before or found things at thrift stores or thrift stores. There’s no timeline and your job is just to observe: you can learn a lot about your dog by giving it the space and time to engage at its own pace. Touch Nose/Scent Work from home

Although terriers are generally noisier than Shih Tzus, all dogs experience most of the world through their noses. Combining brain power with nose power is a win-win way to get rich.

  • Start with 4-5 small, open-top boxes, inside each of which is a delicious treat, out of sight for your dog.
  • Place the boxes in a line evenly spaced on the floor in the room with little/no distraction.
  • Be patient and allow him time to show interest in the boxes and get the rewards. Highlight/click when he does.
  • Start with shallow boxes if your dog shows signs of fear with deeper boxes.

Gradually work to close the lid, close the entire box, increase the distance between the boxes, hide the box, place the box on high surfaces. This may take several sessions.
