The sky is an integral part of any landscape photo, and as such, it deserves your healthy attention during the editing process. If you want to improve your landscape images, check out this great video tutorial that will show you three different ways to adjust the sky using Photoshop or Lightroom.

If you haven’t tried the automatic sky masking tools in Lightroom, you’re missing out. I have to admit that I am extremely impressed as it was able to successfully select 99% of the sky I threw at it, even those captured through intricate windows and trees. This makes working with multiple images a lot easier and makes my editing process much more efficient, which is always appreciated. Make sure you are not looking at the control panel.
