I’ve lived my whole life consciously leaning towards the shorter side. While not tall enough to ride a roller coaster or certainly never visible in large crowds, being short is an integral part of who I am. While working in fashion decade ago proved that height is just a number and I’m not afraid to wear it seasonal trends, I’ve also learned that I prefer certain styles on my shorter frame.
I can say with absolute confidence that my 5’3″ height has never restrict me from trying the statement dress trends. I’m simply aware of the fact that there are design hacks that work in my favor in the trending shades. For example, if I were shopping for a midi dress, I would choose styles that accentuate my waist by adding waist seams, ruffles, or ruffle details.
