Low luxury has basically been a forever thing, but lately Beauty has been the subject of many Tik Tok Dive into the world of simple and expensive clothes. Of course, The Row made several appearances in the speech. The brand’s collections have almost been stripped down and upgraded, but what it lacks in ornate details, it makes up for in quality. That means even an unbuttoned white shirt will stand out. But the hefty price tag hasn’t stopped The Row from attracting a large fan base. You can definitely consider me as one of them.
While I love an over-the-top trend, there’s still something to be said for a quiet, cool, simple and unmistakable elegance. I’ve said before that if I had a million dollars, I’d stock up on my wardrobe full of The Row staples, but since student loans are the current driving force in life mine, so I looked to other alternatives. One of them is the COS of the Scandi brand. While it’s a beloved fashion editor, it’s a little above its mass-market contemporaries. Like The Row, Cos’ bread and butter are minimalist dividers that aim for the extravagance and modernity. However, the prices do vary considerably – a pair of Cos pants will set you back a little over $100, while its cotton t-shirts and tees are typically around $30. Moderate affordability and expensive looking quality are mainly why most of my bookmarks so far are from retailers. And until I hit the lottery, it fulfilled my quiet luxury fantasies.
