With just two weeks to go before the regular season of the PGA Tour, two-time major champion Justin Thomas will attempt to qualify for the FedEx Cup Qualifiers when he tees off at the 3M Open 2023 starting Thursday at the TPC Twin Cities north of Minneapolis. Thomas, who won the FedEx Cup in 2017, wasn’t originally scheduled to play in Minnesota, but he made it to the 3M team, placing 75th in the FedEx Cup standings. Only the top 70 of the standings qualified for the Qualifiers, prompting Thomas to change his mind at the last minute.
