2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic: Live stream, watch online, TV schedule, channels, tee times, golf coverage, radio stations

In a flash, the PGA Tour’s regular season is coming to an end, as Rocket Mortgage Classic 2022 marks the second-to-last tournament of the 2021-22 campaign. As a result, several players are expected to make the trip north to Detroit, Michigan, with hopes of securing their spot ahead of the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

Former US Open and Players Championship champion Webb Simpson is in the enviable position of being last man at the moment, as he is 125th in the season-long race. Having played little in the spring due to injury, Simpson will try to climb the leaderboard over the course of the next two weeks to play in Memphis for the first playoff.

While Simpson is narrowly missed, other notable faces in need of a quick end to their season include Jason Day (no. 127), Rickie Fowler (no. 132), Cameron Champ (no. 149) and Harris English (no. number 194). All hope to follow in the footsteps of Scott Piercy, who leapt from 138th to 112th with a 5th overall finish at the 3M Open last week.

Piercy has proven just four days of intense competition can change one’s season and provide a sense of security when it comes to future job prospects. Rocket Mortgage Classic 2022 will provide a great theater for both players looking for a spot for the Tour Championship and those just hoping to finish in the top 125.
