2022 National Championship TV fixtures, FedEx Cup Playoffs coverage, live stream, watch online, golf channel

Although the main season is already in the books, the FedEx Cup Playoffs will end with a bang this week as the 2022 Tour Championship is set to distribute a whopping $18 million grand prize and plenty of riches. for the top golfers on the PGA Tour. Beyond the money at stake are countless storylines to follow during a pivotal moment in the sport’s history.

Scottie Scheffler is looking to become the first golfer to win the PGA Tour five times since Justin Thomas in 2017, and he’s working towards that by completing the richest season in golf history. Scheffler had a perfect start to that top, shooting 5 under on Thursday to push his advantage to many into the final 54 holes in Atlanta.

Meanwhile, Patrick Cantlay is aiming for a brace after winning the BMW Championship last week by winning consecutive FedEx Cup titles. He shot 70 in Round 1 and is now seven points behind Scheffler with Xander Schauffele jumping into a new second place in the standings.

The two will be looking to accomplish their respective goals while tackling one of the sport’s most loaded areas as 29 of the top 30 players will be competing. Notably absent was Will Zalatoris, who injured his back in the 3rd round of BMW and was forced to withdraw from the last 5 rounds of the knockout round.
