2022 Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer Special Edition is now available in Malaysia for RM379,888 – lots of chrome added!
There is a new variant of the Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer in Malaysia called the Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer Special Edition. The new variant made its public debut at the Hap Seng Star roadshow in Bangsar Shopping Center over the weekend.
The new Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer Special Edition sits on top of the Vito Tourer lineup in Malaysia, priced at RM 379,888 OTR without insurance on private registration. This is a high-end RM20k compared to the previous tractor, Vito Tourer Exclusive.
Just a quick recap of the three different levels of Vito Tourer specs in Malaysia. Basically, the ‘base’ Vito Tourer costs RM342,036.40. It comes in the form of an extra-long wheelbase, like a four-row 10-seater, with seats in a 2-3-2-3 configuration.
The Vito Tourer Exclusive is priced at RM 359,888 and adds two captain seats with extendable benches, allowing you to turn it into a three-row 2-2-3 configuration. Note that you still get seats that allow you to set it to 2-3-2-3. You just have to figure out where to store them when you want to use it with the captain’s chair.
So what does Vito Tourer SE bring you? It’s basically an exterior styling package that includes different front and rear bumpers as well as a different engine hood. The engine hood has a chrome piece placed vertically in the middle.
The whole design is intended to give the car a Maybach-like feel, for those who want their Vito Tourer to look a little more epic.
As for the rest of the accessories list, the Vito Tourer has 17-inch dual-spoke 5-spoke light-alloy wheels, Smart LED Light System with High Beam Assist Plus, automatic wipers, reverse camera, pressure monitoring system. tire pressure and six airbags.
Regarding safety and driver assistance systems, active brake assist (AEB), active distance assist Distronic (active cruise control), attention assist, blind spot assist, cross-sectional assist , hill start assist, lane keep assist, lane tracking package and Parktronic are all standard.
The Vito Tourer SE is powered by a M274 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 211 hp (208 hp) at 5,500 rpm and 350 Nm of torque from 1,300 to 4,000 rpm. The 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels.
