They will all be painted the same silver exterior, but buyers will have the option to choose between red or blue. carbon fiber topic. If you recall the paint color of the Le Mans winning car from 2016, it was a mix of red, white and blue, so Ford chose red and blue to enhance the look of the car. there. In total, Ford will equip the front splitter, side sills, engine compartment vents, mirror body and rear diffuser. Also of note are 20-inch carbon fiber wheels on the outside, but they’re not standard GT carbon wheels – instead, they’ll have red or blue accents to match the interior. . Ford will also release titanium nuts and black paint brake set of clamps to complete the wheel and brake package.

A new exhaust tip design has been developed for the LM model. It’s a 3-D-printed titanium dual exhaust with the “whirlwind design” in the tips hinting at the twin-turbo V6. Power remains unchanged at 660 hp. Just above the new exhaust tips, you’ll see a 3-D printed GT LM badging.

All LM passenger seats will be upholstered in Ebony (black) Alcantara leather, but will have stitching in the same color as the driver’s seat to match the color theme.

The final unique touch for the LM is an attractive instrument panel badge. To produce the special GT LM dash badge, Ford lowered the crankshaft of the year 2016 Le Mans third-class finishing cars into powder, and will use it as the material to 3-D print the dashboard badges of all 20 LM-version vehicles. Apparently, the car’s engine in third place was just lying around completely disassembled on the shelf, so Ford decided to use it!

Ford says deliveries to customers of the LM Edition will begin this fall and production will end at the end of the year.
