2022 Arnold Palmer Invitational: Live stream, how to watch online, TV schedule, station coverage, tee time

This week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational is a must-watch TV show like any golf event ever in 2022. That’s partly due to the second-best course of the calendar year, and partly because of the golf course at Bay Hill. . has delivered plenty of drama over the years, especially when it’s as quick and sure as is expected this time around.

Rory McIlroy opened with 7 Under 65 on Thursday to take the lead after Round 1, but there’s plenty of storylines this week.

World No 1 Jon Rahm making his debut at this tournament certainly serves its reason, but he’s not the only reason to watch. McIlroy, Viktor Hovland, Scottie Scheffler and Hideki Matsuyama will all be playing this week at API, right before next week’s first quarter event of the year at the Players Championship.

At this time last year, we got the iconic shot of Bryson DeChambeau almost taking home the sixth green with his steering shot (twice). We won’t get it this time around as DeChambeau retired on Monday with lingering hand and hip injuries, but it’s not the only TV series we’ve seen in recent years. here here.

McIlroy’s thriving on this course has added to its appeal over the past 5 years, and it’s brought us a host of winners since Tiger Woods stopped winning (he won). won for the eighth time in 2013). Since then, we’ve seen Matt Every (twice), and then spanned the globe from Jason Day to Marc Leishman to Francesco Molinari to Tyrrell Hatton to McIlroy to DeChambeau.

With another good international portion of this week’s event, I expect another great standings (almost like the Open Championship). And as has happened for the past six years, another great striker will take the lead on Sunday afternoon. We won’t have a 6th green player, but we’ll get another huge Arnold Palmer Invitational.
