Gonzalez was essentially wiped out when he was crushed by Sirskaret Sor Rungvisai in their March 2017 rematch. However, the man has returned to high fashion, and is set to fight Juan Francisco Estrada for a third time as Covid 19 knocks Estrada out of the fight. Follow in Martinez’s footsteps, ready, eager and ready to take down a legend. “It’s a big challenge,” said Martinez 18-1. “I am excited and motivated to be fighting a great legend like Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez. I want to thank him for choosing us in this great battle, as I said with everything but fear, anywhere and against anyone.”
