I was recommended signature kangaroo food from my vet too but it turns out my guy is allergic to it more than other proteins and moreover the Flaxseed in it. Allergy testing is well worth the $300. Now he eats pork-based single-ingredient products. All puppies are different

Veterinarians are not paid to recommend certain food brands. I have been doing veterinary tech for 15 years and I also have a basic knowledge of animal nutrition. The only reason why most recommend hill, royal canin and purina is because they have prescription and treatment formulas that are created based on your furry baby’s certain needs. The recipes below that you don’t need a prescription for contain some of the same ingredients but aren’t for a specific need like urinary, kidney, cardiac, etc. DCM and don’t have the granules that have been linked to causing a condition. there. If you’re concerned about allergies, cut your chicken. No chicken, chicken meal, chicken fat, chicken because the products are ingredients in your dish. Unfortunately, some French people will still have allergies (mine did) and be fine on apoquel. Alternatively, you can also make your own food while some say it’s easy, you have to be careful to make sure you’re replacing the minerals and nutrients found in your regular dog food without in the food you cook for them.
