Our boy has a very sensitive belly. He’s been tested and talked to by his chicken farmer as the biggest culprit (more importantly what the chickens are fed) and it’s in everything. When we scrapped his diet, he was fine – the food was duck potatoes and pea crumbs. Snacks are rabbit lugs, duck necks, duck feet and bug baits!!

Just sharing, don’t know if it works for your pet or not, of course it always works for me if there is no other cause for the problem. Veterinarians recommended this many years ago. Boil the hamburger gravy thoroughly, starting with a small serving a few times a day, then moving on to a little white rice (not brown rice) in it. If this is just a normal digestive glitch, you should start to see a change after about 3 days. Then add yogurt as a couple of scoops per feeding. Good luck!

Honest Kitchen Good for dogs with sensitive stomachs. We have a GSD who is allergic to almost everything, including most dog foods. We found one of their recipes that was hypoallergenic for him and it worked for him. Also, you should talk to your veterinarian. One of our GSDs had persistent diarrhea and our vet prescribed a course of metronidazole for her. You will most likely need to bring a stool sample, but metronidazole is often prescribed for intestinal problems.

Number two turns to pet-friendly beef kibble, which is a limited-ingredient diet with all the probiotics a dog needs to get. Healthy stools and healthy bowels. I would keep him going until you see a big difference, it can take up to 2 weeks but usually less. You can choose to stay on this diet for a while or you can try switching to another food that I feed as my dog is very sensitive to duck and oats. Good luck!
