While Zara releases many special collections throughout the year (most recently with Narciso Rodriguez), it’s rare for a brand to partner with celebrities who aren’t technically fashion designers. But I’m happy, today there is an exception in the form of a collection with Kaia Gerberand her inspiration for it is incredible.
As reported in a press release about the partnership, Gerber said, “My starting point for this collaboration with Zara was to ask if it was possible to create a collection that has everything you need in your closet. If you’re traveling and packing a whole collection, can it cover every possible need you have? I think we’ve gotten there.” They really have. The collection includes 41 high-end basic pieces, mostly in neutral colors — accessories included — that can be easily mixed and matched. And the majority of the pieces cost less than $100.
Since the collection is quite extensive, in my opinion I have made a list of the most worth buying from it. Head over to the store and watch Gerber model some chic outfits.
