Our Chow is allergic to anything with feathers or beaks, beef, lamb and potatoes. We rotated between kangaroo, venison, pork and rabbit. If for kibble we stick to signature brand and Go Sensitivity Limited Ingredients of the above proteins. This worked for us after trying so many brands.

Try The logic of nature, but NOT chicken, beef or turkey. It doesn’t have rice or potatoes (too many carbs) but has extra fruit and vegetables. Make sure you can easily accept any new food so it doesn’t upset your stomach. We rotated between sardines, salmon, lamb, pork. Also, be sure to remove chicken and beef from dishes.

Royal canin dry food my chow weighs 7 pounds perfect never had any problems with it since the puppy was a baby, as an adult of course now feed him gammon eggs from time to time as we treat
