Many people have mixed reviews about Daylight Saving Time, but I absolutely love it. In my mind, it was the symbolic beginning of spring. Happiness! And yes, even though we will sacrifice an hour of sleep, the trade-off is well worth it: an extra hour of daylight to enjoy every evening. That extra hour heralds the return of energy, excitement, and all that is perfect for sunsets activities we gave up back in November. It’s been a hopelessly long winter (wasn’t it always?), so we’ve put together a small to-do list for Light Savings daylight to brighten spring evening, literally and figuratively! I love using this newfound period of time to appreciate the little things that go unnoticed in the darkness of winter.
