1049-foot long asteroid GARGANTUAN will soon come very close to Earth, NASA reveals

NASA has reported that a 1049-foot-long asteroid, classified as potentially hazardous, will make its closest approach to Earth on March 14. The asteroid is moving at a breakneck speed of 50474 km/h. This is extremely fast, even for small planet as most of them move between 25,000-40,000 kilometers per hour. Given its size and speed, it could do some serious damage to our planet, should it hit us.
However, early predictions emphasize that the asteroid will come close to Earth 3.9 million km and will pass safely through the planet without harming us. But the last-minute deviation still happens, and if it does, we will have to face its wrath.
The asteroid has been classified as potentially hazardous. NASA assigns this classification to any asteroid that comes closer than 7.4 million kilometers from Earth.
