Zenith adds three cool Ice Blue models to the Defy Skyline collection and launches a new comprehensive strap service on its online store.

One of three newly launched Zenith Defy Skyline Icy Blue Boutique versions, here measuring 36mm.

Offered in 41mm and 36mm sizes, new version Defy Skyline Ice Blue Boutique Edition models maintain Skyline’s signature angled steel case with a hexagonal bezel, a shape that Zenith credits for its own Defy designs since 1969.

Instead of the dark blue dials of many previous Skyline launches, this new trio sports a summer-ready icy blue metallic color engraved with Skyline’s four-pointed star pattern. As with all Zenith Skyline models, the date wheel is colored to match the dial.

Zenith is launching one 41mm model and two 36mm models with a new color scheme. One of the 36mm models is set with a diamond bezel.

At the same time, Zenith unveiled a new service on its online store, allowing buyers to browse and buy from a wide range of compatible straps. While the service is currently rolling out in Europe, online customers in North America and Japan will be able to use the service starting September.

Inside the 41mm model, Zenith equips the El Primero 3620 automatic high-frequency caliber (36,000 vph) that offers a unique 1/10 second indicator driven directly from the escapement. The watch has a power reserve of sixty hours.

The two smaller models are powered by Zenith’s Elite 670 automatic movement, which offers a 50-hour power reserve. Each model has a star-shaped oscillating weight that can be viewed through the rear sapphire display.

Zenith is offering each watch in a new version Defy Skyline Ice Blue Boutique Edition with a steel bracelet finished with satin polished surfaces and bevelled, polished edges.

Additionally, each watch comes with an ‘Ice Blue’ rubber strap with a starry sky motif and a steel folding buckle. Customers can quickly change straps without using any tools thanks to Zenith’s quick strap change mechanism.

Finally, while the 41mm is only available on the Zenith online store, both 36mm models are available from both physical and online shop.

Price: $8,500 (36mm), $9,000 (41mm) and $12,000 (36mm with diamonds).
