Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom eShop price is $70 USD
Update: And just like that, Nintendo has now removed the digital price from the store page. We guess we’ll get another price reveal at a later date. You can see what the previous page looked like in our story below:
Original story: Nintendo has been extremely busy the past day with financial issues and Live announcements, and on top of that, it’s also making some updates to its digital stores.
Many Nintendo enthusiasts out there have taken notice of the digital store homepage for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom just updated. Specifically, the price of the game is currently listed as $69.99 US Dollar. Here’s a look (via Nintendo.com):
Notably, this is a roughly $10 increase over other Nintendo first-party titles (like Breath of the Wild) which usually go for $59.99 US Dollarand there are retailers that are still offering physical copies of the game for the same price.
If this is the new digital price, it is essentially following the trend of other companies in the gaming industry over the past year that have raised the prices of their own games.
