I feel like Yung Miami doesn’t get enough credit for keeping the city girls going while JT is locked down, mind you she’s pregnant. I’m like a lot of things that girl does but that girl runs off on her own and holds it tight.

Yung Miami previously explained why she and JT broke up
These two gworlz in Florida were said to have taken over the late 2010s and early 2020s with their sandwich lady songs!
Even while Jatavia was in federal custody for identity theft from June 2018 to March 2020, City Girls continued to explode. In fact, with solo performances, appearances and planned pop performances, the dup has become a household name and favorite in the nightclub scene.
Last October, Jatavia issued its first subtle warning about going solo. Speaking to Interview Magazine, she shared the name of her upcoming debut album ‘City Cinderella’.

She also intends to split her fan base into a solo act with City Girls fans, naming her audience ‘Juvies’. This year, from March to May, JT toured several US cities, promoting three of her singles, including “Okay” and “Sideways”, while building support among Juvies.
Yung Miami is also not slow in attracting independent audiences through many avenues – not just booths! She went from hating her fans calling her Caresha to promoting her birth name as a brand.
She’s sorted out her solo resume a bit more. Miami landed a role in STARZ’s ‘Power’ Universe, hosts an award-nominated podcast, ‘Caresha Please’, and has sold thousands of her adult card game, ‘Resha Roulette’. Her most recent song ‘CFWU (Mama You Pretty With No Makeup’) came out in April.
A few weeks before May 13, Miami told Complex that she and JT were just in “two different spaces.” She explained that this became extremely apparent after they released their last City Girls album, ‘RAW’ in 2023.
Living in separate cities and pursuing different passions also contributed to the duo’s eventual breakup. However, in addition to making music together, Miami has made it clear that they are still friends – despite their verbal argument about X in April.
“I think it’s sisterhood. Of course, those are my friends, but for me it’s more like family,” Miami explained. “I’ve known JT all my life…”
