Youth Forum: How change makers are shaping the world more sustainably


From April 25 to 27, thousands of youth leaders from around the world are ready to gather at the Economic and Social Council 2023 (ECOSOC) Youth Forum. In person and online, they are offering solutions, suggestions and initiatives, sharing their ideas to make sure a sustainable future is possible for everyone.

The main platform for the voices of young people

The Youth Forum is a key platform for young people to contribute to policy discussions at the United Nations, where they can voice their opinions, concerns and focus on their innovative solutions to challenges facing the world.

Throughout the Forum, youth-led and youth-focused organizations have the opportunity to engage with Member States, policymakers and key actors to promote youth development. youth, address the challenges they face, and share their contributions to realizing the youth-specific goals in the SDGs.

Young Leaders for SDGs

Every two years, this flagship initiative recognizes 17 young change makers who are leading efforts to combat the world’s most pressing problems, and whose leadership is catalyzing the achievement of be the SDGs.
