You can now take sunrise yoga classes at Disneyland



Disneyland’s newest experience offers visitors a unique opportunity to get inside the park before the park officially opens and stretch their muscles before a long day.

Starting April 1, overnight guests at any Disneyland hotel – Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel And Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa – can join yoga classes inside Disneyland or Disney California Adventures on selected dates.

Are you ready to relax and have Disneyland practically all to yourself? Here are all the details about the yoga classes in Disneyland’s new park as well as other fitness offerings inside and outside the park.

Sunrise Yoga at Disneyland

Sunrise yoga at Disneyland is designed for all skill levels, whether you’re an experienced yogi or a beginner. The location of classes is determined by the park’s schedule for the day but includes locations like the Space Mountain lounge in Tomorrowland.

No matter where the class is, you’ll have the rare opportunity to watch the sun rise over an almost empty park while focusing your mind and body. Don’t worry: Classes start early, so you’ll have time to head back to your hotel, change, and have breakfast before heading back to the park for the day.

Yoga mats are provided in the classroom and the class ends with snacks and a bottle of water. You will also receive a digital photo download and a scarf to celebrate your experience.

Classes take place on selected days and cost $89 per person; Advance reservation is required. You can make a reservation through Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel.

Yoga at Disney California Adventure

You also have the option of taking a gentle yoga class at Disney California Adventure early in the morning before the park opens to regular visitors. Classes can be held in a variety of park areas, including the nature-inspired Redwood Creek area.

In addition to traditional yoga lines, this class combines meditation with peaceful sounds and images to help melt away any holiday stress. Classes are designed for all fitness levels and include the use of a yoga mat throughout the session.

Classes take place on selected days and cost $30 per person; Advance reservation is required. Reservations can be made through the Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel.

If yoga isn’t your workout option, Disneyland offers a variety of other fitness classes inside the park and at its hotels.

Additional classes include rowing gymnastics at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa pool, tai chi or gentle stretching classes at Eureka Fitness Center at Disney’s Grand California Hotel and Spa, and strength training camp. altitude or early morning strength walks at Disney California Adventure.

Classes last 30 to 45 minutes and prices range from $25 to $30.

bottom line

Reservations are required for all fitness classes and you can book in advance online, by phone or in person at Tenaya Stone Spa. Classes held at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure do not include park tickets and participants will have to exit the park at the end of the class.

All classes are for adults 18 years of age and older. Guests between the ages of 14 and 17 may participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian with written consent.
