YG will not be charged with a robbery that led to his arrest a year ago.
The LA County District Attorney’s office will not charge the rapper because “There is not enough evidence of what the defendant did to support and abet the crime. The mere presence of the criminal is not enough,” Van said. the DA department wrote in court documents according to TMZ.
At the time, YG’s lawyer Joe Tacopina said that his client was innocent.
“This arrest caught YG off-guard completely because there was no truth to them. YG didn’t know what the investigators were talking about and we weren’t given any details… we’re looking into it. understand about this case through the media. … the motive here is quite clear.”
More recently, YG was involved in the fatal stabbing of Drakeo the Ruler. Video goes viral about YG and his fight involving friction. YG has not spoken out about the reports to confirm or deny his innocence.
