Yes, Hogwarts Legacy is indeed coming to Nintendo Switch
Nintendo fans were quite surprised on Friday when it was discovered Hogwarts Legacy – a next-gen game inspired by the popular Harry Potter book and movie series – is coming to Switch.
This confirmation is shared in a FAQ on the official game site, and now in an update, Warner Bros.’s Avalanche community manager. Chandler Wood confirmed this to the team at GoNintendo. Here’s the full exchange (via Twitter):
“We have no details right now except to confirm that yes, Hogwarts Legacy is coming to the Switch.”
Notably, it’s still unclear whether the Switch game will be a fit release or a cloud version. The initial exploration of Hogwarts Legacy for Switch was followed by the reveal of the Nintendo box image of the game (via Amazon), which suggests it is getting a physical and digital release on the system. You can see the cover in our past story.
That’s it, according to this response from this WB Avalanche rep – Hogwarts Legacy is indeed coming to Switch.
Players can expect a “single-player, open-world action role-playing video game set in the 1800s wizarding world”. Hogwarts Legacy is out on Holidays 2022, do you want to play the Switch version? Let us know in the comments section.
