Wyndham Championship 2022: Live stream, watch online, TV schedule, channels, tee times, golf coverage, radio
The PGA Tour regular season ends this week at the 2022 Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. With aspirations of the FedEx Cup Playoff and the privilege of playing the PGA Tour on the rope, every shot will be magnified around this Donald Ross design.
Defending champion Kevin Kisner arrives in North Carolina after a brief week in Detroit, but he’s at the tipping point after the season as he ranks 32nd in the season-long race. Not all are as lucky as the 2021 Wyndham Championship winners, and so some veterans and rookies need four days of intense competition to be able to propel them into the post-season.
One player worth noting is Rickie Fowler, who comes in at 123rd in the FedEx Cup standings. For the first time in his career missing the playoffs last season, the five-time PGA Tour champion has experienced well-documented struggles over the past few years. Even so, he could have played himself into position to advance into the post-season if he could at least watch the later stages of the Wyndham Championship.
While Fowler has spent the better part of a decade on the PGA Tour, the four rookies find themselves sandwiched between numbers 124-129 on the leaderboard. With their playing future in doubt, these newcomers will have to handle the situation like veterans and perform to the best of their ability to save their first season on the Tour.
