Top Predictions for the 2024 Wyndham Championship Golf Tournament
One surprise: Jordan Spieth, a three-time major champion, doesn’t crack the top 10 this week. Spieth ended a nearly four-year win drought at the 2021 Valero Texas Open and then added his 13th career PGA Tour win the following spring at the 2022 RBC Heritage. But he’s been stuck at 13 wins in 28 months, and the former world No. 1 has dropped to No. 39 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Spieth is 63rd in the FedEx Cup standings and will be making his first appearance at the Wyndham Championship in three seasons as he looks to cement his place in the playoffs. He has finished outside the top 70 at Sedgefield in his last two appearances at the event (2019 and 2020) and has not finished better than T-25 in a PGA Tour event since the Texas Open in April.

Im also has three top-10s in five career starts at the Wyndham Championship, but it has been nearly three years since his last PGA Tour win. He ranks 92nd on the tour this season in strokes gained: approach (.075) and 81st in strokes gained: putting (.095), so he will need to improve those two areas of his game to finally end this winless drought.
