Wozniacki introduced the engagement to her 570,000-plus followers, The Courier Mail reported. In her tweet shown on USA TODAY Sports’ For the Win, she mentioned, “Comfortable New Yr everybody! Rory and I began 2014 with a bang! … I mentioned YES!!!!”

McIlroy posted his personal tweet three minutes later, saying, “Comfortable New Yr everybody! I’ve a sense it is going to be an important yr!! My first victory of 2014 #shesaidyes!!”
