World Series 2022 top plays: Phillies lead Astros, Game 5 live update
The Houston Astros have to face up with Philadelphia Phillies on Thursdays in Game 5 of 2022 World Seriesexclusively on FOX and the FOX Sports App.
The series was even at 2-2 after Houston made history with a Game 4 no clash with Philly on Wednesday.
Justin Verlander was his fourth start after the season and second in the World Series for the Astros. Before that, he dropped five runs with six hits and two walks in five innings in Houston’s Game 1 loss.
On the other hand, Noah Syndergaard is starting his second (fourth appearance) post-season for the Phillies. He was originally scheduled to launch Game 3 but was moved to Game 5 after being postponed on Monday.
